Directions by car

From Pewsey (10 minutes): 

  • from the statue of King Alfred in the centre of Pewsey, take the A345 towards Marlborough
  • go over the roundabout and take the next left, Wilcot Road, signposted to “Alton Barnes, Wilcot”
  • drive up the hill and over the bridge with the traffic lights
  • when you get to a church on your left, take the left fork in the road, “Woodborough Road”
  • continue on this road, when you get to a crossroads go straight over, follow the “Woodborough Garden Centre” signs
  • drive past the garden centre on your right and take the first left at the grass triangle, signposted “Bottlesford, Hilcot”
  • drive over the railway bridge and turn immediately left, where you will see a ‘No through road’ sign
  • continue down this lane and follow the road to the left at Mullen’s farm entrance
  • continue on and after 400m, when you think you’ve gone too far, you will see the entrance to the Old Church and All Saints Cottage on your left

From Woodborough (3 minutes):

  • follow the road signposted “Woodborough Garden Centre”
  • after less than a mile you will see a grass triangle in the road, take the fork to the right
  • drive over the railway bridge and turn immediately left, where you will see a ‘No through road’ sign
  • continue down this lane and follow the road to the left at Mullen’s farm entrance
  • continue on and after 400m, when you think you’ve gone too far, you will see the entrance to the Old Church and All Saints Cottage on your left

From Bottlesford (2 minutes):

  • drive past the Seven Stars pub on your left
  • within half a mile, just before the railway bridge, turn right onto a lane with a ‘No through road sign’
  • continue down this lane and follow the road to the left at Mullen’s farm entrance
  • continue on and after 400m, when you think you’ve gone too far, you will see the entrance to the Old Church and All Saints Cottage on your left

The closest station is Pewsey (10 minutes drive from All Saints Cottage). The direct train to Pewsey from London Paddington takes about an hour.
